Biography
Lazarus V. Kirifides is an Associate Attorney at Schmidt, Kirifides, Rassias & Rio, where he represents injured workers and accident victims with the professionalism, care, and precision the firm is known for.
A lifelong resident of West Chester, Lazarus graduated from Unionville High School in 2016 before earning his Bachelor’s degree in Economics from James Madison University in 2020. He began his career in government consulting, working with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where he developed a strong foundation in public service and client-focused problem solving.
Lazarus earned his Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2025. During law school, he completed two summer internships with Schmidt, Kirifides, Rassias & Rio, gaining hands-on experience in Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury litigation. He also interned with Daniel D. Martin & Associates, where he further developed skills in case development, client advocacy, and navigating complex injury claims.
He now applies this experience to representing clients in both Workers’ Compensation and Personal Injury matters. Lazarus is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and an active participant in the Young Lawyers Division.
Outside of the office, he enjoys watching Philadelphia sports and traveling whenever he gets the chance.
