Anna V. Rio, Esquire

Anna V. Rio, Esquire, received her undergraduate degree from Temple University in 1990 and her Law Degree from Widener University School of Law in 1993. Upon graduation from Law School Anna joined the firm of Michael N. Silver, PC and became a Partner in the firm in 1995, practicing in the field of Workers Compensation. Anna has exclusively represented hundreds of injured workers through the present and has appeared before Workers’ Compensation Judges, the Workers’ compensation Appeal Board, and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. In June of 2018, Anna and the firm of Michael N. Silver, PC joined forces and merged with Schmidt, Kirifides, & Rassias .

Anna is licensed to practice Law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. She is admitted to the U.S. Court- Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. Court of Appeals ( Third Circuit).

Anna is a Certified Workers’ Compensation Law Specialist as authorized by the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. She argued and won the landmark case of McLaughlin v. WCAB [St. Francis Country House], 808 A.2d 285 (Pa. Cmwlth. 2002) before the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.

Anna resides in Drexel Hill with her husband and two sons.
